Keto Low-Carb Bread Recipe Ingredients

  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husk powder
  • 1 tbsp baking powder

Keto Low-Carb Bread Recipe Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees C). Use parchment paper to line two baking sheets with rimmed edges.
  2. In a mixing dish, whisk together the egg whites and salt. Whip until the mixture is extremely stiff.
  3. In a separate dish, whisk together the egg yolks and cream cheese. Combine the psyllium husk powder and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Incorporate the yolk mixture into the beaten egg whites.
  4. Pour half of the dough onto one of the baking sheets prepped. Make round patties with the remaining 1/2 of the dough on the second prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven until lightly golden. To make sandwiches, cut a sheet of bread into squares.

What's the best way to keep Bread & Rolls fresh?

Bread should be kept at room temperature in a dark, dry, cold place like a cupboard, drawer, or bread box. We also suggest that you keep our bread packed in its original packaging to help it maintain moisture. Wrap the bread in plastic wrap or aluminum foil if you don't have the original container.

Store bread away from heat-generating or light-emitting equipment like microwaves and refrigerators. Because of the heat from these machines, the bread may dry up faster or moisture may form within the bag, causing the bread to mold.

How to Freeze & Store Bread & Rolls Properly

Start with a basic inquiry when it's time to freeze bread: Will you be storing bread for a few weeks or a little longer? It's then simple to prepare the bread for storage.

How to keep bread that will be consumed within three weeks:

  • Freeze store-bought bread straight away. 
  • Use plastic wrap, such as Glad® Press'n Seal®, to firmly wrap handmade bread. After that, put it in the freezer.
