Why Does This Lemon Garlic Air-Fryer Salmon Work? We'll Take a look!

In addition to the fact that this salmon meal is speedy and straightforward, a few factors make a difference for me:

A ton of flavor

Salmon is a substantial, fatty, and powerful fish that can withstand solid and intense tastes without being overpowered. Salmon requires strong, robust flavors, and our delicious lemon-garlic sauce fills that need.

Making the easy lemon-garlic sauce is the first step in this baked salmon dish. Why is it there?

Lemon. Lots of it. Two huge lemons' juice combined with lemon zest (so much brightness!)

Plenty of fresh garlic. It would help if you minced or finely chopped the garlic since no one likes to bite into a big chunk of it.

Extra virgin olive oil of high quality. While many recipes call for melted butter, it's not necessary. All you need to complete this sauce and give the salmon a healthy buttery touch is extra virgin olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil, is flavorful and spicy in the finish, was what we used.

Herbs & Spices. Simple lemon pepper seasoning that you probably already have around the house!

Soft and just-right flaky

The air fryer is perfect as it gives the edges nice crispy flakiness but leaves it soft and juicy in the center!

How to Properly Store Fish & Seafood

How long can cooked fish be stored in a refrigerator or freezer?

Lets answer a few questions about how to store fish and seafood!

That relies upon several conditions, but fish, once cooked, should be refrigerated within 2 hours. To maximize the shelf life of cooked fish for protection and exceptional quality, refrigerate the fish in shallow bins or wrap it tightly with aluminum foil or plastic wrap. The cooked fish will remain for two to three days in the fridge.

To further increase the shelf life of a cooked fish, freeze it. Store the cooked fish in plastic storage bins or heavy ziplock freezer bags, or wrap tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil or freezer wrap.

How long does cooked fish remain withinside the freezer?

Properly stored, it'll preserve the quality of the fish for approximately one month; however, it will continue to be edible past that time.
The freezer time given is for the best quality of the meat. Cooked fish that is continuously frozen will preserve indefinitely; however, longer storage runs the risk of potential freezer burn.

For the best freezer results, look at getting a vacuum sealer like this one: Get a Vacuum Sealer Here on Amazon

How long does cooked fish remain after being frozen and thawed?

Cooked fish that properly thaws out in the refrigerator will be edible for two to three days. Cooked fish thawed in the microwave or in bloodless has no other shelf life and should be consumed immediately.

How long does cooked fish store at room temperature?

Bacteria develop hastily at temperatures between 40°F and 140°F; cooked fish must be discarded if left out for more than two hours at improper temperatures.

How to know if a cooked fish has gone bad?

The most common manner is to smell and examine the fish. Most symptoms of bad fish include:

  • bitter scent
  • slimy texture
  • white discoloration
