If you are one of the millions of Americans who have adopted a ketogenic diet, you probably already know it is fantastic for weight loss. However, did you know that the keto diet can also help with epilepsy and acne? And what if we told you that it could also help reduce the risk of certain cancers and improve your heart health? Although this diet is excellent, the key to reaping all these benefits is sticking to it. So, if you've been looking for easy crockpot keto recipes to make this diet easier to follow, you've come to the right place.

Read on for five must-try crockpot keto diet recipes that will make your keto journey a total breeze!

1. For Chili Lovers

Chili is one of the most popular dishes in America. So, adding a keto-friendly recipe to this guide was a must. For this easy recipe, all you'll need is:

  • 2.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 large onion
  • Eight cloves of garlic
  • Two cans (15-oz) of diced tomatoes
  • One can of tomato paste (6-oz)
  • One can of green chiles or Jalapeño peppers (4-oz, or adjust by heat preference)
  • 1/4 cup of chili powder
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper

First, chop and saute your onion in a skillet until they are translucent, and then add your garlic. Then, add your ground beef to the onions and garlic and cook until it's brown.

After, add the mixture to your crockpot. Continue by adding all of the other ingredients. Finally, slow cook for 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.

For best results, stir every few hours.

2. Game Night Buffalo Chicken

If you are planning on hosting a game night, you must give these buffalo chicken wings a try. All you'll need is:

  • 4 lbs of chicken wings
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1.5 cups of your favorite buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 an onion

To make them, combine the buffalo sauce, garlic, and onion and set the mixture aside. Then, add the chicken wings to your crockpot and cover them with the buffalo sauce mixture.

Cook for 3.5-4 hours on high.

Serve along with air fryer jalapeño poppers for the ultimate game night meal! If you prefer boneless buffalo wings, you can substitute the chicken wings with four pounds of cubed chicken breast.

3. Vegan Butternut Squash Soup

This butternut squash soup is a total dream for vegans and keto dieters. The best part? Making it is straightforward; all you'll need is:

  • 1 medium to large butternut squash
  • 1 large apple
  • 1/2 medium onion (diced)
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • Toasted pumpkin seeds (for topping)

Add the onion and olive oil to your crockpot and cook for about 8 minutes until softened.

In the meantime, peel the squash and trim the top and bottom parts. Remove all seeds, and chop them into cubes. Add salt and pepper, cayenne, and nutmeg to the crockpot along with the apple (also chop it).

Cover the crockpot and let it cook on low for around 7 hours (check that the squash is tender, that's when you'll know it is ready).

Then, add the coconut milk, and transfer the mixture into a food processor or blender. Puree the soup until creamy.

Top with toasted pumpkin seeds, and enjoy!

4. Easy Crockpot Keto Chicken Fajitas

Who doesn't love fajitas? For an accessible, keto-friendly version of them, gather these ingredients:

  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup of salsa (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper

To prepare, first thinly slice your bell peppers and onion. Then, combine the salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, sugar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.

Add your boneless chicken breast (make sure to remove the skin) and broth to your crockpot. Then, add half of your seasoning mix.

Finally, add the onion and peppers to the chicken layer and season with the rest of the seasoning mix.

For extra flavor, add a cup of salsa before putting it on the lid of the crockpot.

Then, cook on low for around 3-4 hours. If you are in a rush, you can cook on high for approximately 2 hours.

5. The Best Keto Queso

If you've been craving a dip for all of your veggies, you must try this queso. Besides its vibrant flavor, this queso is one of the easiest crockpot recipes.

All you'll need is:

  • 8 oz of cream cheese
  • 8 oz of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz of shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1/2 an onion (chopped)
  • 1 minced jalapeño
  • 1 tsp of cumin
  • 3/4 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • Salt and pepper

To make this, spray your crockpot with some oil and add all your ingredients. Then, cover your crockpot and let the mixture cook for around 4 hours on low (or till all of the cheese is fully melted).

This dip is perfect for any of your favorite vegetables. For an incredible appetizer, combine this queso dip with some zucchini sticks
